Bowls England Celebration Matches

Bowls England organises a programme of Celebration Matches as recognition and as a reward for the work done by Clubs - the matches acknowledge a Club's significant milestone or achievement. They're played by a team of 24 players representing Bowls England against 24 players from the host Club, traditionally been held between April – September on Tues, Wed and Thurs afternoons.
All Counties have been invited to nominate players to play in the Bowls England teams in these Matches. Bowls England expects the nominated players to have achieve at least one of the following
- A National Finalist
- Volunteered within the club / county or National Level
- Dignitaries from counties ex and current roles (includes Life Members, Past Presidents, Honorary Members etc)
- Part of a Club Committee i.e Chairperson / Secretary
- Part of England / High Performance / Junior High Performance player
Once Bowls England has received nominations, they will contact players direct to confirm their selection, request their availability for the Celebration Match and give them the opportunity to apply to be Captains of the Day.

If you wish to be nominated by Bowls Dorset, please email Sue Maggs suemaggs49@gmail.com no later than 5.00pm Tuesday 15 February. Please include your Club's name together with your email address, contact phone number and which of the above 5 achievements apply to you. Nominations are not for individual matches, so preferred matches should not be included - if selected, Bowls England will make direct contact for your availability.
