Qualifier Allocations for 2025 National Finals

BOWLS DORSET QUALIFIERS
Bowls England has just released qualifier allocations at the 2025 National Finals for each Championship discipline played through Counties.
Other than Senior Fours, Under 24 Singles and Under 24 Pairs, the top 27 Counties by number of entries in each discipline receive two qualifiers and the remaining 8 receive one. Where Counties are equal on a discipline's entry number, the ranking is decided by the Counties' total number of gender entries and then by the Counties' total number of entries for men & women combined. For Senior Fours and Under 24 Pairs, as last year all Counties receive single qualifiers. For Under 24 Singles Bowls England has changed the criteria for 2025, so that only the top 13 Counties receive two qualifiers with the remainder receiving one.
Sadly Dorset has lost the second qualifier for Men's Pairs and Men's Under 24 Singles. In the Men's Pairs, we were ranked 28th with 67 entries - Lincolnshire were ranked 27th with 69. In the Men's Under 24 Singles, five Counties including Dorset had 9 entries and were ranked 11th to 15th on the basis of total men's or combined entries. Dorset took 15th spot, so failed to make the cut for two Men's Under 24 Singles qualifiers. Otherwise our allocation has remained the same as 2024.
