Bowls Dorset v Bowls Cornwall

1st June 2024 at Tiverton West End

Congratulations to the Bowls Dorset Ladies on winning their first 2024 John’s Trophy game against Bowls Cornwall. Cornwall are a very strong competitor and we knew we had a hard game on our hands. Our Ladies did Dorset proud by playing a great exciting game. At one time both Counties were equal on points then Cornwall went in front until the last few ends.  But then our Ladies with a lot of enthusiasm from our Supporters and the players went on to successfully beat Cornwall by one shot.  Bowls Dorset 117 Bowls Cornwall 116.

I am very proud to be the Dorset Ladies President and the way our ladies played and conducted themselves. Onwards and upwards for the future Ladies.
